[MSI] Invoke existing dialogΒΆ

Add the invoke of the existing dialog to the Installation or Administrative sequence between the standard or custom actions to display this dialog during the isntallation.

Important

Precondition: Open an MSI package in MSI Editor (see Open MSI/MST).

  1. Go to the Package Designer > Installation dialogs tab.

  2. Select the New dialog invoke from the context menu of a standard or custom action, after which you want to invoke the existing dialog. Note that dialog invoke cannot be added between dialogs tree.
    This feature is not available in the Flat list view.

  3. Choose a dialog from the list that you want to invoke and click Add.
