Set repository for delivered packagesΒΆ

Configure a location where the output packages of the project will be uploaded according to the delivery process. Also, define the package delivery settings.

Important

Precondition 1 : You have the Supervisor role.
Precondition 2 : Sign In on Web Portal of PACE Packager Hub.
  1. Go to the project settings. See manual Open project settings.
  2. Open the Delivery repository tab and click New server to add a new repository server where the project packages will be delivered by engineers.

    One project can have multiple repository servers. The engineer can select which of servers to use for the package delivery.

  3. Depending on a type of the selected server (FTP/FTPS, SFTP, Network Share), the connection settings will differ.

    Specify a symbolic Name for the repository server, its address, path, other settings, and the Connection credentials. See table below to choose the right option. Then, click Save.

    Warning

    The specified Connection credentials are stored in database in the encrypted form. Check that you are connected to PACE Packager Hub using HTTPS to ensure that your data and the specified Connection credentials are transmitted securely.

    Parameter

    Description

    For the server-side (web) and desktop client

    Means that both (1) PACE Packager Hub server and (2) users of the desktop client will use the specified credentials to connect to this repository server.

    Only for the server-side (web)

    Means that only PACE Packager Hub server will use the specified credentials to connect to this repository server. Users of the desktop client will be prompted to enter personal credentials. Their credentials will not be saved.
  4. Tick the Enable package delivery checkbox to allow users delivering packages using the built-in wizard of PACE Packager Hub desktop client app.

    Also, define what Package delivery content will be selected by default, and the package compression option. These settings can be re-defined for each package separately during the delivery process.
