MSI from scratch

Create a blank MSI in MSI Editor, add folders, files, registry entries and shortcuts directly to the MSI package.

  1. Run MSI Editor from the Tools tab of PACE Suite Launcher (or from the Start Menu shortcut).

  2. Select New MSI… from the MENU to create a new empty MSI package.

  3. Enter a file name and, if needed, change the destination location. Then, click Create.

  4. Now, import resources into your package and set product information.

  5. To save the package, select Save from the MENU.
