[MSIX] Move files/foldersΒΆ

Move files or folders to a new location inside the MSIX/APPX package.

Important

Precondition: Open the MSIX package in MSIX Editor (see Open MSIX/APPX).

  1. Go to the Package Designer > Files and folders tab.

  2. Select Move from the context menu of a file/folder, location of which you need to change.

  3. Select a new destination location and click Select.

  4. The moved files and folders will be highlighted with a green background and the last moved item will be automatically selected.
