[MSIX] Rename folder

Change a folder name in the MSIX/APPX package.

Important

Precondition: Open the MSIX package in MSIX Editor (see Open MSIX/APPX).

  1. Go to the Package Designer > Files and folders tab.

  2. Select Edit from the context menu of a folder that you need to rename.

    Important

    System folders can’t be renamed.

  3. Change a name of the folder and click Save.
