[MSIX] Add subfolderΒΆ

Add a new subfolder (user-defined folder) to the MSIX/APPX package.

Important

Precondition: Open the MSIX package in MSIX Editor (see Open MSIX/APPX).

  1. Go to the Package Designer > Files and folders tab.

  2. Befor adding folders, check if the package already contains the necessary folder, hidden by filters. For this, click the Filters and ensure that the Hide empty folder filter is unticked.

  3. To add a folder, select New subfolder from the context menu of a parent folder.

  4. Enter a folder name and click Save.

  5. The added folder will be highlighted with a green background and automatically selected.
