[MSI] Move registryΒΆ

Move a registry value or a key to a new location in the MSI package.

Important

Precondition: Open an MSI package in MSI Editor (see Open MSI/MST).

  1. Go to the Package Designer > Registry tab.

  2. Select Move to from the context menu of a resource that you need to move.

  3. Select a new destination location from the registry tree and click Select.
