[MGP][MSIX/APPX settings] Custom fixup (PSF)ΒΆ

Manually include a custom fixup to the MSIX/APPX package. You can get a new fixup that is not listed in the current version of PACE Suite from the Package Support Framework Github page.

The Package Support Framework (PSF) is an open source kit that allows to apply runtime fixes to the repackaged Win32 app that fails to run in an MSIX container.

Important

Precondition: Open a project in Package Generator (see Open MGP project).

  1. Go to the Shortcuts\Apps > MSIX tab.

  2. Select New custom fixup from the context menu of an app that fails.

  3. Specify the downloaded Fixup DLL and fixup Configuration that will be stored under the "config": {} key of the PsfLauncher configuration file config.json. Then, click Save.
