Testing environment configuration

Testing environment requires a one-time configuration to test your MSI, MSIX/APPX packages with Quality Approver.

Quality Approver is a client-side app that runs locally and inteacts with various preconfigured virtual machines to test your packages:

• MSI for compliance with the Desktop App Certification Program

• MSIX/APPX against the Microsoft Store requirements and Windows Desktop Bridge tests.

LOCATIONS OF VIRTUAL MACHINES FOR TESTING:

• VMware ESXi
• Microsoft Hyper-V
• Oracle VirtualBox
• Local host is already a virtual machine
