Capturing environment configuration

Note

Local capturing does not require any mandatory configuration of environment. There are only common recommendation and practices to use a clean system with the minimum set of installed apps and temporary stop all non-essential services and process like Windows Updates, Indexing, antivirus software, etc.

Capturing on remote virtual machines with Setup Capture in the manual or automated modes requires a one-time configuration to allow controlling these virtual machines from your local host.

• Oracle VirtualBox
