MSIX as a packaging format has been a hot topic for quite some time. We believe it won’t replace MSI in the nearest future, so we will continue to bring even more improvements to fast and easy creation of MSI packages of the highest quality – the approach that makes our users love PACE Suite.
That said, Infopulse, as one of Microsoft Partners, is committed to supporting and promoting the latest Microsoft technologies. MSIX will not become an exception – we are actively working on adding MSIX support to PACE Suite, so look out for this new packaging format in one of our nearest future releases.
As usual, we will make creating MSIX packages in PACE Suite as simple as possible, while ensuring that power users have access to advanced features.
