PACE Suite 4.2 with Improved MSI Packaging Speed, Support of App-V for Windows 10 and more

We are happy to announce the new release of our application packaging and virtualization tool – PACE Suite 4.2! The new version offers new features as well as usability improvements – read about all the exciting additions below.

Creating a response transform

We have added a new wizard to MSI Generator that enables you to create response transforms. With this helpful wizard, you can capture all the changes you have made to the Windows Installer dialogs.

Enhanced performance

MSI building runs several times faster than before due to the upgrades we have made to PACE Suite algorithms.

Support of App-V for Windows 10

The new App-V client is included into Windows 10 Enterprise since 1607 build. PACE Suite 4.2 supports this latest development from Microsoft.

New App-V format among the Package Options.

Permission Settings Management

MSI Editor now enables you to add new or modify existing permission settings of resources in your packages.

Managing permission settings for files, folders, and registry keys is now available.

New Start Screen

We have redesigned the Start Screen of MSI generator. Now you can access different functions by invoking Packgaing and Testing scenarios.

Easier access to application packing and testing scenarios.
