[MSIX] Add registry valueΒΆ

Add a new registry value to the MSIX/APPX package.

Important

Precondition: Open the MSIX package in MSIX Editor (see Open MSIX/APPX).

  1. Go to the Package Designer > Registry tab.

  2. Select New value from the context menu of a registry hive or key, where you need to create a new value.

  3. Specify the necessary registry item parameters such as Name, Type, Value. Afterwards, click Save.

  4. The created registry value will be highlighted with a green background and automatically selected.
