[MSI] Edit registry keyΒΆ

Edit a registry key in the MSI package.

Important

Precondition: Open an MSI package in MSI Editor (see Open MSI/MST).

  1. Go to the Package Designer > Registry tab.

  2. Select Edit from the context menu of a registry key that you need to edit.

  3. Change the necessary key details and click Save.

    Note

    Changing Parent key or Root leads to moving this key with all of its subkeys and values to a new location.

    Key Options are represented as the special purpose registry values.
