[MGP] Edit file properties

Edit a name, installation folder and permissions (applied only to MSI) of the file in the MGP project.

Important

Precondition: Open a project in Package Generator (see Open MGP project).

  1. Go to the Files tab.

  2. Select Edit from the context menu of a file that you need to edit.

    Warning

    The ‘Excluded’ items (highlighted in yellow) can’t be edited.

  3. Update the required values (e.g. file name, installation folder, permissions). Afterwards, click Save.
