[MSI] Drop tableΒΆ

Drop (remove) tables from the MSI package.

Important

Precondition: Open an MSI package in MSI Editor (see Open MSI/MST).

  1. Go to the Tables Editor tab.

  2. Select Drop table from the context menu of a table that you need to drop.

    Note

    The read-only system tables could not be removed.

  3. If the table contains resources that are referenced from other tables, you will get the list of resources that will be affected.

    By default, all linked resources will be removed along with the table in order to support the MSI database integrity constraints. To leave the linked resources in MSI untick checkboxes and click OK.
