[MSI] Clean-up system registry on install¶

Specify registry values and keys that should be removed from the system registry on MSI package install (before installing registry).

Important

Precondition: Open an MSI package in MSI Editor (see Open MSI/MST).

Go to the Package Designer > Registry tab.
Select New value/key removal from the context menu of a key that you need to clean-up.
To remove a registry value, specify its Name and select an associated Component that will controls the removal.

To remove the key completely with all of its subkeys and values, or to remove the Default key value, change Value processing method.

Afterwards, click Save.
