[MGP][MSI settings] Move shortcuts

Move shortcuts of MSI package to a new location in the MGP project.

Important

Precondition: Open a project in Package Generator (see Open MGP project).

  1. Go to the Shortcuts\Apps > MSI tab.

  2. Select Move to folder from the context menu of the necessary shortcut.

    Warning

    The ‘Excluded’ items (highlighted in yellow and crossed out) can’t be moved.

  3. Select a new destination location and click Select.

  4. In case you are moving the captured shortcut, source (i.e. .LNK file) of which was copied to the project folder, click Change to confirm LNK file relocation on the file system.

Note

Files that are located outside the project folder on the file system will not be affected.
