[MSI] Export components to MSMΒΆ

Export component of the MSI package to the merge module (.MSM).

Important

Precondition: Open an MSI package in MSI Editor (see Open MSI/MST).

  1. Go to the Package Designer > Features and components tab.

  2. Select Export to Merge Module from the context menu of a component that you want to export (or from the context menu of a feature to export all components of this feature).

  3. Review the list of components that will be exported and click Next.

  4. Specify the necessary Module ID, Version, Language and click Finish.
