[MGP] Edit file properties

Edit a name, installation folder and permissions (applied only to MSI) of the file in the MGP project.

Important

Precondition: Open a project in MSI Generator (see Open MGP project).

  1. Go to the Files tab.

  2. Select Properties from the context menu of the necessary file.

    Warning

    The ‘Excluded’ items (highlighted in yellow and crossed out) can’t be edited.

  3. Update the required values (e.g. file name, installation folder, permissions). Afterwards, click Save.
