Share profiles of packaging rulesΒΆ

MSI settings profile contains the packaging rules according to which MSI Generator builds MSI packages. A profile defines many settings such as MSI template, compression type, summary information, the use of advertised tables, MSI properties, Active Setup integration, Merge Modules and others.

You can create a variety of MSI settings profiles and share with your team. Every member of your team can easily switch these profiles at any moment. First you need to have configured the network share folder that is accessible to your team members.

  1. Decide what network share folder will be used for storing MSI settings profiles and map it as a network drive on the system where PACE Suite will be run.
