[MSI] Add featureΒΆ

Add a new feature to the MSI package.

Important

Precondition: Open an MSI package in MSI Editor (see Open MSI/MST).

  1. Go to the Package Designer > Features and components tab.

  2. Select New feature from the context menu where you need to add a feature.

    Note

    To create a root feature, create a new feaure anywhere, and then set it as a root in the feature properties.

  3. Update the necessary feature details and click Save.
