[MGP][APPV settings] Exclude/include apps, FTAs, shortcuts

Exclude the unnecessary APPV apps, their shortcuts and file type associations (FTA) from the MGP project or include them back.

The excluded resources remain in the project as ‘Excluded’ (highlighted in yellow and crossed out) and they will not be built into the package. You can include them back at any time and rebuild the package.

Important

Precondition: Open a project in MSI Generator (see Open MGP project).

  1. Go to the Shortcuts\Apps > APPV tab.

  2. To exclude, select Exclude from the context menu of the required item.

  3. To include, select Include from the context menu of the required excluded item.
