[MGP][APPV settings] Add FTAΒΆ

Add a new file type association (FTA) of the APPV app in the MGP project.

Important

Precondition: Open a project in MSI Generator (see Open MGP project).

  1. Go to the Shortcuts\Apps > APPV tab.

  2. In case you have no one APPV app, add a new one selecting New application from the context menu of the Applications list.

  3. Select New FTA from the context menu of the File Type Associations list. The new FTA will be added to the app that is currently selected from the Applications list.

  4. Specify FTA details (file extension, ProgId, content and perceived types, context menu commands) and click Save.
